ABOUT CAROL CASALINO, MS, CNS
I’m a board-certified Nutritionist, the owner of Real•Life Midlife Wellness for Women, founder of the Master Your Midlife Metabolism 12-Week Fat Loss Program, the 21-Day Midlife Reset, a lover of delicious food, and a road cyclist.
I teach midlife women a highly effective way to eat that will rev up their metabolism, balance their blood sugar and hormones, and result in weight loss (for good!) - all without feeling restricted, hungry, or deprived, or spending hours in the gym.
I’ve been where you’re at.
I've been overweight, on and off, for a good part of my life. From the time I was a very chubby 8 year old - described by my mother as being ‘as wide as I was tall’ (thanks Mom!) - until I was in my mid-forties. When midlife hit my metabolism, energy, and confidence tanked all while my waistline continued to expand. I was frustrated because my usual methods of losing weight that I relied on in my 20’s and 30’s just didn’t work anymore.
My frustration with my sluggish metabolism and weight gain forced me to research why I couldn’t lose weight (in spite of trying EVERYTHING) and how to jump-start my metabolism.
What I discovered shocked me!
Going against everything I had previously learned about dieting was my key to achieving a leaner, healthier midlife body!
Even though I’m now able to stay lean and healthy without depriving myself it took more than a few years to figure it all out.
I had to unlearn everything I thought was the right thing to do because I quickly discovered how wrong they were. I had to test out different formulas to see which ones worked for me and my body.
I struggled. I so wished someone could just tell me what to do without me having to spend so much time and energy trying to figure it out.
It took a lot of time and patience and there was no way I could have arrived at the Master Your Midlife Metabolism methodology or the 21-Day Midlife Reset without having invested in my professional education and becoming an expert in weight loss, nutrition, and lifestyle specifically for midlife women.
I’ve seen for myself what works and doesn’t work. I’ve watched hundreds of my clients successfully master their midlife metabolism to become fat burning machines (goodbye belly fat!) and gain back their confidence. You can do that too.
Now my mission is to help you manage your midlife metabolism so you can lose weight in a sustainable, balanced way, and love the way you look and feel again.
When I’m not helping midlife women I can be found pursuing my other passion, cycling. In addition to bicycling 100+ miles every weekend around the New York tri-state area I am also a volunteer co-leader of the New York Cycle Club’s progressive cycling training series. On or off the bike, I do like to share what I know and love with others!
